Stop motion artist Patrick Boivin is back with a new video. You might know him from the YouTube Street Fighter game. There were two things he wanted badly as a kid and never got: A real dog and a Kenner AT-AT Walker.

It’s written entirely in code, with much of the content fed by fans who tweet what is killing them using the hash tag, #killingme. Nike wants you to write the future, but in the meantime W+K is writing the future with this epic World Cup commercial.

It is the name of recently merged Amsterdam districts Osdorp, Slotervaart and Geuzenveld-Slotermeer. The merge also means an end to 20 years of reconstructing Osdorp. Celebrating this +1 was asked to create an intriguing video, featuring the buildings they found most characteristic.

Not sure I agree with the conspiracy-theory (or the Australian accent) but this nicely animated video from The Beast File is definitely for for thought.

My good colleague Joeri just showed me this really cool short video called ‘Pixels’. It’s a New York invasion by 8-bits creatures. Impressive motion graphics. Directed by Patrick Jean at One More Production in France.

Philips asked five RSA directors to create a series of short films using the same script. The first one is done by Johnny Hardstaff and the second one by Hi-Sim. The other three are released here tomorrow.

Often animators try to get this cut-out paper effect done with their software. Tilles Singer simply did the real thing, using stop-motion and tons of pictures collected from magazines and the web.
