iPhone 360

Remember scrolling and dragging through all those awesome 360 video capture examples? You’ll be able to do it yourself with your iPhone 4 when you attach the Dot. A pocketable 360º lens for your iPhone 4. The quality is (much) lower than Yellowbird, but the examples still look promising.

Rumors

NoWhereElse.fr made this nice ‘Complete iPhone 5 Rumor Roundup’ document in which all the rumors about the new iPhone are collected and presented in a nice way. I’m still running with iPhone nr. 3 and thinking about buying a new one. Should I wait for the 5?

Akayism made this very special graffiti-bicycle-remote-controlled-machine-unit-thing. They call it: “An instrument of mass destruction. A complicated solution to aide in a simple act of vandalism.” Sweet. Via.

918 RSR

To post something on 11/1/11 should be about a thing that really loves that number 1 position. What else would fit better than this brandnew Porsche 918 RSR. It’s a hybrid race car, 767 combined horsepower. Porsche has partnered its V8 with two electric motors (75 kw each). It stores braking energy in a awesome huge flywheel accumulator stationed where the other seat would be.

Last week I have tested the Samsung Galaxy Tab for their Ideas in Movement project. The Tab is a tablet and phone in one, that runs on Android, shows flash and rocks two camera’s. Dead drops

Frank-ly points at this cool project, started in New York City. ‘Dead Drops’ is an anonymous, offline, peer to peer file-sharing network in public space. People are ‘injecting’ USB sticks into walls, buildings and curbs, open for the public to find or share files. Wonder when the first dead drop will pop-up in Amsterdam.

Cyglo tyre is a new idea on cycling safety. Switched using a motion sensor within the tyre, high powered and durable LED bulbs are built into the tread of the tyre, so when the wheel turns at speed, a ring of light is formed whilst continually and perpetually creating its own power.
