Again North Kingdom lives up to the high expectations they have for each project. This time it’s an online football (soccer) game for Adidas, supporting the german team a.k.a. Die Mannshaft. The graphic novel vibe, combined with video and 3D works very well. It’s a strategic game with elements that require perfect timing.

If you ever played CoD Modern Warfare you know it’s action packed. It’s as if mr. Bay wrote the script to a game. The scene with the nuclear aftermath is one of the best ever. The trailer for no. 2 is just online and I’m happy to say they stay on track, moving further away from CoD and establishing their own Modern Warfare series.

Patapon is a Japanese rhythm-based 2D platform/action game exclusively for the PSP. You have to lead the Patapons, a brave and noble tribe, through a series of epic battles against opposing armies and gigantic monsters by playing the wardrum. Funny concept en weird Japanese graphics!

After the award winning SketchStudio, IJsfontein has now created the GameStudio, an online game-development tool-kit for children. The GameStudio is made for Dutch children tv-program Het Klokhuis who, in addition, will make a series of tv-programs about game development. (All links are in Dutch)
