Go Pro Kid

Nice to see some different stuff happening with the Go Pro. Instead of jumping of the usual buildings and flying trough waterfalls my good friend Pascal mounted his Go Pro on the head of his little cousin and went to the playground. The result is this very nice short video.

San Salvador

Gang violence is one of the defining features of life in El Salvador today. Thomas Hurkxkens created an intriguing 25-minute documentary for Al Jazeera’s Witness series. For poor youngsters in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, joining a gang seems to be the best choice. Machismo is a part of daily life.

Like!

When NewWork joined Facebook years ago we set ourselves up as a group for all its contributors. We now have changed that to a fan page. How modern. It will automatically showcase posts and news plus here you can ask awkward questions like When is the new site coming? or Who are all those people who never post?

Bleijh is a design studio from Amsterdam famous for its product designs like the Giant Downtown bike or the Sandwhich bike. The latter even got stolen right of the conference floor in Milan once. Bleijh does design other fine products as well but it’s great to see another bike design hit the stores in Holland.

The new site for the work of mr. Super Silo is online. The man himself can describe it best: “I started putting my work up on the Behance network but I noticed that it didn’t gave me the option to tell all the stories involved in my work. What to expect? Everything Super Silo related: from my personal work to publications and video’s.”
