On stage

Yesterday I was talking to Addikt and saw their work for Sebastian. It wasn’t posted here yet so I couldn’t resist. It’s the design of a stage and all on screen content at an event in the Gashouder. I’m especially a big fan of the half circle abstract led animation in video 3 combined with a sort of Baltimore remix of Daft Punk’s Robot Rock.

Once again from uniqlo a very cool project called ‘Calendar’. Very simple, good music and beautiful video. I really like the depth of field. It makes everything look like miniature.

Roffest

There are a lot of video flyers flying around on the internets, but finally there’s another great one. It’s for the upcoming Roffest festival in Utrecht (check the line up). People don’t realise yet how hilarious Jiggy Djé is, especially in a collabo with Kees. Shame I can’t see the credits anywhere about who made it.

Urban Art

Getting ready for a Berlin-break, I was looking for some nice stuff to put on my to-do list. Inspired by the subculture, Adidas launched the Urban Art Guide. It is a catalog for art that left the galleries. In addition, they created an iPhone app that guides you through the urban landscape.

Share the sky

Last week a good friend of mine came back from Nepal and told me about his Parahawking adventure. Ever since hearing his story I can’t wait to do it myself. What it is? It’s paragliding in the Himalayas with a trained bird of prey and the bird filming your entire flight from a camera mounted on his back. Brilliant.
