Smart new Diesel campaign / statement that encourages to be stupid. ‘Cause stupid has the balls. I agree.

We (at Achtung!) are looking for a talented and motivated interactive designer to join our team in Amsterdam.

Parisian motion design studio Mathematic has an impressive portfolio with some familiar projects including music video’s, commercials and idents. They are linked to The Holograms and FMK7 whose work you should also see. A very talented bunch who might not always be very original stylewise, but they do know how to make it look spiffy as hell.

Yet another showreel; this time from North Kingdom, one of the most renowned online agencies out there. A lot of the work that’s shown has been featured on this blog over the years and it’s nice to see it al again, packed together. The intro and (home made) music might make it feel slightly pretentious, but hey, it’s North Kingdom.

Eze Christopher Blaine is a digital designer and art director from London. After impressive projects for former employers including Wieden+Kennedy he recently started his free lance carreer as Ez Blaine. This, of course, meant he had to put a portfolio up. So have a look by clicking on the lame word joke below.

Today famous advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy launches their new website. The site itself is nice but not overly special, where its predecessor was when it launched years ago. It should, however, give you a clear view of what their Portland, A’dam, London, NY, Tokyo, Shanghai & Delhi offices have been up to.

A cool interview on Fontanel today with Dave August from OOOii. Everybody knows the interfaces they’ve built for movies like Minority report, Star Trek and DejaVu. They actualy try to build these interfaces for real, so not in post. Dave will speak at Adobe User Group XL this thursday. There are a few tickets left on Fontanel!

You might know Tomato as Underworld’s design collective. That is kind of true, since two out of nine people are Rick Smith and Karl Hyde of Underworld. Besides design work for the group, they make television and print advertising, movie titles, corporate identities and art installations. Their portfolio just had a huge update.

The short logo animations for EA games always really fit. I know I should name some obscure software house here but screw that, I like those razorsharp ones from EA. Like the new 3 second one from Dragon Age (a game that besides that startup logo isn’t my cup of tea).

Friend and artist Frank de Ruwe (aka Gekke Frenkie) finally updated the Natwerk site. You might know Natwerk from the ‘kauwgomballenstunt‘, the Grolschmobiel (we did with them) or from their mobile guerrilla devices.. Keep an eye out for these guys!

At SV Bijlmer in Amsterdam the creatives of …,staat designed another really stylish location for Nike. This Football Bootcamp gives the would-be professionals the inspiration to improve their skills and get to the next level. Robin Nas created some great on-the-spot paintings of players. I can’t find this artist online though, anyone?

The Saints hit their first #1 spot in the iTunes AppStore. This application has been build for Voetbal International and launched last week.

FLOW is looking for great designers who are not afraid to do great online work for AH, KPN, McD, ABN & PEPSI. If you can Flash too, you get extra points. Don’t hesitate and meet us for a chat & a cup of joe.

As you may have noticed, we’ve been working on our new site, and today it’s officially gone live. We’ve chosen a clear and modest approach in which the work is placed central. Check out the current selection on your desktop browser or using your mobile phone.

UK based design-led street wear brand Amplotude have got some pretty sweet gear… Tell me you can’t fall for that type?

What Modernista! started, BooneOakley takes to the next level; their agency site as one interactive Youtube movie.

‘Colourmovie is a design-driven creative studio specializing in motion design, animation, brand identity, and live-action production.’ This LA based company released their showreel for 2009 and it’s pretty damn impressive, if you’re into spiffy big brand/hollywood/television type motion graphics.

HP and frog design have once again teamed up to design a new product. Earlier collaborations resulted in the HP Touchsmart PC series. This time it’s a redesign of the Ubuntu UI for netbooks. Hope you like it!

I’ll be off to Dublin for the weekend and bumped into this small agency while I was exploring the creative scene in the Irish capital. They make web apps, love their one-page website.

Big Spaceship, you probably know them from their high end Flash work. If you don’t, check out their website. If you do, check out their website too. They have updated it today. Don’t get your hopes up for something flashy, it’s very basic, it’s about the work and the thoughts on it.

Motherland is a NYC based company making interesting motion graphics and video work. This is their montage (read: reel) for 2009. There’s good looking work, interesting concepts, a nice edit and an original choice of music. Try clicking around their site for more work.

Seeks new talents. Are you a passionate interactive designer, looking for a fresh place to do your magic?

updated their website with fresh new work! It’s worthy a peek. Don’t get confused that the news item says 2008… It’s new, don’t worry!

If you like the MTV real live soap Rob and Big you’ll love Rob Dyrdek’s new show. It’s called the Fantasy Factory and it’s about Rob running an amazing house / factory / company while doing loads of stupid and funny stuff.

“Nothing is the point were all ideas begin.” Nothing is a new commercially creative agency in Amsterdam with a pretty cool interior.

I have no idea how new this is, but check out the weird shit going on at this website. It’s the home of New Zealand interactive agency Resn, creators of the digital disco breakdown. There’s some nice work in their portfolio and i love the roll overs, check the swans and try rolling over the logo multiple times.
