A very simple but smart guerilla campaign in which IKEA is promoting their two couches “Ektorp” and “Kalstad” by strategically placing them in Paris metro stations. This is really effective as most of the waiting passengers are more than likely to test them.

Something good looking from Microsoft! For the renewed MSN Canada platform Australian 3D animation heroes Umeric made these lovely ads. The MSN butterfly smoothy shifts shapes, illustrating the topics at hand. Watch versions one…

Some of you know this for some time already. Some of you don’t. This post is for the latter. In most countries around Europe you can’t see all the Champions League games live on tv. In Holland you can’t see any of the CL games tonight. Thanks to good old internet you can see them easily at ATDHE.net for niks (warning: no HD).

Great use of video and background in this Vimeo ad for Frito Lay Dips. Similar to Honda Shine, but entertaining in it’s own way. One of the few online display formats I actually believe in.

To celebrate it’s soon to be Fair Trade status, Ben&Jerry’s is trying to start a Givolution. They give a free icecream for anything you wish to share. Others will bid for your item, give you something in return, and so it starts. NewWork like’s to give, and offers a free NW shirt. What do you give in return?

Or what about an ad for a doll called Gay Bob.

Imposing shots of men working hard to create the world. It shows that all men are like Hercules and it’s because of this that they deserve their damn beer when work is over. Isn’t that what a beer commercial is supposed to be like? Guinness and AMV BBDO London understand.

Never underestimate the power..
[Maybe a bit late on this one, but felt like sharing it with you guys..]

A weird and funny 2:20 long commercial for the Seat Altea XL, made by Atletico International from Barcelona. Strange furry animals are popular, just look at ‘Where the Wild Things Are‘ and the new dutch Vodafone commercials. The more love this one gets, the more he grows, luckily he can still fit into a Seat.

Another one from Vodafone. This time it’s the online roll out of the Power To You Campaign, made by Achtung! On the site you see a live stream of random people, which you can upgrade with fancy prices. You can upgrade someone on Twitter too.

Check out these fresh Vodafone commercials, from their brand new agency They. Oh, and watch out, they are radically different.
