Dutch master
Industrial design magazine Core77 introduces ‘the Dutch master‘. With a nod to New York’s Dutch heritage, the Dutch Master acknowledges the reemergence of European city bikes across America. With its styling from the early 20’s, its vintage-inspired graphics and cable clips, and the Dutch Master cigar references, the bike marries the best of classic and contemporary.

That ain’t even close to a Dutch vintage bike!
I think they might be referring to some ‘Dutch’ influences in New York City in the 1910’s and 20’s that are not necessarily bicycles. They mention a cigar brand called ‘Dutch masters’ that was especially popular around that time. I definitely agree with you it doesn’t look like a traditional Dutch bicycle except for the colours of the frame and the tires.
