In the 50’s up until the 80’s it was a common phenomenon in Holland that lp’s were used as a promotional gift. It was a very cheap way to promote your product. Some artist that contributed are “van Kooten & de Bie”, “Drs P.” and “Patricia Paay”. On the 22nd of September there will be a 156 paged book published about this fascinating way of advertising.
